About Me

While I am only 15 years old, I have been doing art most of my life. I have worked in paint, watercolors, clay and much more. I like experimenting with several different mediums. My favorites are Pencils, Markers Pens, and Clay.

My first art class was with Mrs. Rucker at Smocks. I learned to use several different mediums and loved every minute of taking classes with her. Most importantly learn loved to be proud of everything I created, as well as the creative process. She taught us about many great historical artists along with the history of art. I loved everything that I learned and created with the guiding hand of Mrs. Rucker

. I was first introduced to a pottery at a local fair where was a local potter allowed me to turn my first pot with their guidance. These is where I fell in love with pottery and the wheel. I spent the next several years trying to find a school that I could learn how to create pieces of my own.

In 2016, I found the Edgefield Clay Studio, and started my clay journey and my passion. From my first time on the wheel to today, I love every minute of working with clay. I have enjoyed learning from all my teachers, Mrs. Paula Bowers, Mr. Bob Taft and Mr. Levi Wright. They have all helped me take my creativity and art to the place it is today. What I love the most is that I can take my all my skills, in drawings, painting and clay into making a functioning piece of art. I am proud of where a started as well as hard work that I’ve done to get to where I am today.
